Josh Lobeck
Meet Josh Lobeck, a creative type with a passion for martial arts, fitness, and acrobatics. Josh is the older brother and other half who also co-founded Elemental Warrior Fitness and takes lead on the development of the martial arts program that is currently taught, Elemental Martial Arts (EMA). Josh, like his brother, grew up training martial arts along side Joe with a background in Karate and Budo Taijutsu. Upon completing the goal to receive a black belt in both martial arts disciplines which spanned about 10 years, Josh continued his training by joining the Marine Corps in 2013. During his time in the Corps, his next goal was to became a full fledged black belt combatives instructor teaching the various techniques of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program or (MCMAP) for short. After his 3.5 to 4 year mark in the Corps and a successful deployment to the middle east, that goal was realized and Josh made the difference in his unit by teaching many Marines how to become better in the hand-to-hand arts that was standard in the Marine Corps.
Upon leaving the USMC in 2018, Josh began work as an armed security officer in private security along the Colorado front range working various missions and contracts. After 2 years, and around the time of the pandemics occurrence, Josh set out to become a professional martial artist working for a corporation known as Premier Martial Arts. It was here Josh would learn how the big business martial arts schools would conduct their work. After another 2 years or travel, training, and teaching with in this institution, Josh came out with a proficient understanding in Krav Maga, along with earning his Brazilian Jiujutsu blue belt on the side.
Now, alongside his brother, Josh continues to create the systems, methods, and techniques to make the Elemental Martial Arts program unique. Josh’s goal is to empower and create the best in people through the dedicated practice of martial arts. Moreover, Josh is a very experienced parkour practitioner along with teaching other various acrobatics, gymnastics, and movement techniques since 2010. Josh and Joe both are Ninja Warrior veteran competitors, and use their knowledge to ensure their students are receiving their best.
Meaning behind the logo
The logo for Elemental Warrior Fitness represents the five elements of nature - earth, water, fire, air, and void - which have been traditionally used in various Eastern philosophies to describe the building blocks of the universe and the human experience.
At Elemental Warrior Fitness, we believe that these elements are not only important for understanding the world around us but also for understanding ourselves and our bodies. Our training programs incorporate the principles of each of these elements to create a holistic approach to fitness and martial arts training.
Our logo represents our commitment to incorporating both practical training principles and philosophical concepts into our programs, and we believe that by incorporating the five elements, we can provide a more comprehensive and holistic approach to fitness and martial arts training.
